My Priorities for Portland Schools

Equity & Justice

It is most critical to me that we continue the board and district staff’s focus on equity and racial justice.

Listening and Learning

I will listen to students, families, teachers, administrators, and support staff – and bring their concerns and ideas to the board and district leadership.

Experience and Leadership

I will bring my legislative and in-school experience to the school board and beyond to advocate for what our students, teachers, and staff need to succeed.

Students and Schools

As your school board director, I will promote policies and budgets that center schools and students.

Fund for Portland Public Schools

We must ensure that the Fund for Portland Public Schools is adequately staffed and supported to raise resources and equitably distribute those funds to our schools.

Public Schools Champion

We must champion our public schools – magic happens every day! – and help address declining enrollment.
